On Easter Sunday, March 31, Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland will be serving brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and dinner from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with special a la carte brunch offerings in the spirit of the occasion. These will include Crispy Ricotta Fritters for $9.00 with house made orange marmalade; Maine Lobster and Mascarpone Scramble for $19.00 with spring onions, sourdough toast and country potatoes; Chalet Eggs Benedict for $15.00 with braised natural pork shoulder and warm buttermilk biscuits; Braised Lamb Shank for $24.00 with green spring garlic mashed potatoes and glazed vegetables; Crispy-Skin Local Rock Cod for $24.00 with spring bean ragu, tomato confit and thyme oil; and Zuckerman’s Asparagus Risotto for $19.00 with a poached farm egg and truffle oil.
In addition, beginning at 1:30 p.m., guests can enjoy, via Gondola Servizio, $5.00 per person gondola tours of Lake Merritt (minimum of 4 people per boat, children five and under are free). At 1:00 p.m., the Easter Bunny will be handing out eggs filled with treats for the kids.
