On Easter Sunday, April 20, Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland will be serving brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with limited menus showcasing a la carte offerings in the spirit of the occasion. Brunch specials will include Bananas Foster rum French toast with banana-cinnamon rum caramel sauce and whipped cream; Dungeness crab and prosciutto Benedict with fresh crabmeat, prosciutto, English muffin, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce; spring vegetable frittata, an open-faced omelette with asparagus, spring onions, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and crescenza cheese; Easter Berkshire pork arista, a seasoned and roasted center cut rack of pork with Iacopi butter beans and pork jus; grilled king salmon with manila clams, pork chorizo, mustard greens and young carrots, coconut basmati rice and saffron nage; asparagus risotto (vegetarian), with carnaroli rice, asparagus, Easter egg radishes, truffled farm egg and Parmigiano-Reggiano; and orecchiette pasta and Italian sausage, with “little ears” pasta, Swiss chard and fennel pollen. There will also be a selection of holiday cocktails.
