Both raised in Brooklyn musical households, early life for the members of Double Dragon meant being influenced not only by the records played in the home, but by the jams blasting out of boomboxes on the block, and tunes pumping out of the cars in the bustling streets. For DJs Golden Child and Sblendid, this exposure naturally developed into strong foundations in the funk, disco, rock, reggae, rap, and new-wave grooves of 1980s New York City.

As teenagers in the early 90s, in legendary venues such as The Building, Limelight, Tunnel, and N.A.S.A., the club experience quickly became much more than an opportunity to bug-out and socialize with friends. Each, separately, had become captivated by what the DJs were doing with the records-- compelling the diverse crowds to cut loose and dance all night long by creating an inimitable atmosphere with house and techno beats. And when they were out there as the first U.K. Hardcore bombs hit NYC’s dancefloors-- it was game over. The creative sparks from those experiences set off the future for each of these two impressionable Brooklyn kids.

The start of their respective DJ careers coincided with the explosion of the 90’s jungle scene. Golden Child, was recruited by the legendary Konkrete Jungle posse, and Sblendid was tapped to man the all-jungle/drum and bass store Breakbeat Science by day, while performing as an original member of the infamous Camouflage crew at night. Over the years, they would each cement their personal reputations as guiding lights of the NYC jungle/drum and bass scene, known for constructing storied sets by drawing for unique and impactful tunes informed by their rich heritage in urban dance music.

At the end of 2012, their decision to collaborate re-invigorated the NYC scene with a fresh perspective that propelled them to the forefront as ambassadors of jungle/drum and bass culture. Their upbeat and positive attitudes have helped the duo to foster strong and lasting relationships with prominent jungle/drum and bass producers across the globe giving the pair access to the freshest dubplates for their live sets, and their energetic performances and in-demand recorded mixes have commanded the attention of event promoters across the U.S.

Ranked 4th best DNB DJs nationwide in the Best of U.S. DNB 2014 poll, the future continues to prove bright for the Double Dragon duo, with regular bookings as the main NYC support for such pioneering acts including Ray Keith, Total Science, Bryan Gee, LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Photek, Jumpin’ Jack Frost, Adam F, Marcus Intalex, The Upbeats, Crissy Criss, S.P.Y., Cabin Fever UK, Saxxon, and Marcus Visionary. CATCH THE FIRE!

A self-proclaimed "Mad Scientist" on the decks, Corrine puts the MIX back into DJing. This East Bay native only DJs her own edits, showing no track any mercy, giving her a no BS style that will always keep you guessing and begging for more.

She comes from a classically trained musical background, a punk rock past, and a sick obsession with pop culture, making her DJ sets nothing short of epic. Corrine is a trained hip hop dancer, studied saxophone and percussion in college, and even spent some time doing freelance rock journalism in Los Angeles. This girl can geek out with the best of them.

She has a vast knowledge of old school Hip Hop & Pop music, which allows her to please even the most basic club goer's urge to get down. Disco obsessed and procuring a never-ending influence from Breakbeat music, she makes everything that comes out of the speakers something funky.

Everywhere she goes she dazzles audiences with her ability to mix. But recently she really found her calling when she tackled the world of Drum & Bass. From Jungle to Jump-Up, Liquid to Ragga, this badass lady doesn't mess around when it comes to DnB.

Whether it's her love of rolling baselines or her ear for syncopated drumbeats, she delivers an engaging range of music, schooling even the most elite music lovers. Whatever the genre, she never hesitates to bring the house down wherever she goes.

Recently, she has teamed up with Drum and Bass diva MC Miss Haze to form the duo BITCH PLZ making a dynamic stage show that is in high demand. She currently holds residencies with the Drum & Bass monthly DYSTOPIA and SHELTER, the longest running DnB weekly in the bay, as well as Underground Nation.

She rocks a STAR WARS tattoo which makes her hard to miss, she is "The Rebel With The Treble," and she rocks every party dropping mad science on the dance floor.
