Du Tonc is a brand new supergroup featuring London producer Mighty Mouse and Matt Van Schie, founding member of the formidable Aussie electropop ensemble Van She. Du Tonc’s debut single, “Darkness,” is a big, beautifully arranged cosmic disco odyssey that heralds exciting things to come from the duo, who met in the basement of Paris Social Club back in 2010. The track merges ultramodern electronics with baby-making basslines and smoldering funk guitar riffs, a recipe evoking indie dance heavyweights like St. Lucia and Jai Paul.
