| Description Dolls—it’s new, it’s funny, and it needs YOU to come and laugh at it!

Written by and performed by Michael Phillis (who also does the online graphic novel inFlux.) Dolls is being developed at The New Conservatory Theatre Center as part of NCTC's Emerging Artists Program. Michael returns to NCTC to begin work on a new solo piece entitled DOLLS in which he further explores the world of his childhood and his experiences as a gay man. About The Artist: Playwright and performer Michael Phillis premiered his critically-acclaimed solo show, D*Face, at NCTC in 2006. His other Bay Area stage credits include roles in The Dying Gaul, also at NCTC, and The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby at California Shakespeare Theatre.
