The Bay Area's unique mix of clever and quirky is an amazing breeding ground for comedy. Comedians from the area tend to stand out from the crowd, and some of our greatest entertainers have come from San Francisco: Dana Carvey, Greg Proops, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Margaret Cho and more. The 'Do What You Love Comedy Series' seeks out the next generation of Bay Area stand-up stars. Every month, this independent comedy showcase highlights five of the most accomplished Bay Area comedians as seen on SF Sketchfest, Punchline, Cobb's Comedy Club and Comedy Central.
