About

DJ TRACY, moving crowds to the beat of underground house since 1993. DJ TRACY got her break in 1993 when asked by Adnan to guest dj at 1015 Folsom with Jeno and Doc Martin. The owner of 1015 Folsom was so impressed, he asked her to dj as a weekly resident on Friday nights with Dub Tribe and Cory Black at Sound Clash. From 1994 thru 1995 DJ TRACY moved up to host her own Friday night weekly, Brothers & Sisters with Mark Ameba, at 1015 Folsom, now home of Release and Spundae. In August 1996, Simon (Future Dreams) asked her to fill-in for Garth, who was in Atlanta, GA. At Malachy and Simon's legendary Wednesday monthly Come-Unity. In 1997 she hosted a Wednesday night monthly event Rhythm in the basement of 1015 Folsom with ETI and TAO. In 1995 and 1996, DJ TRACY was a guest dj at Wicked's legendary Burning Man and Full-Moon celebrations. Appearing with Jeno in Golden Gate Park for Funky Techno Tribe and at the very first Pacific Sound Sunset at The Berkeley Marina with Galen and Solar. Back in 1996 Ethan (Friends & Family) was throwing a party called Atomic Dog, held in the Parking Lot at the Oakland Coliseum during Grateful Dead performances. Ethan, Garth, and DJ TRACY gave the deadheads an education in the SF Underground House sound.

This SF, CA Mixtress has traveled the west coast including Hawaii taking her sound to various night club and underground events. on an English tour including the Sub Club, Glasgow, Scotland with Gavin Hardkiss. Making the six hour journey from Glasgow, Scotland to Aberwystwith, Wales. DJ TRACY amazed the crowd at Oxygen. The next night she did the same for an outdoor renegade in the Welsh woods. DJ TRACY tore the roof off of Oklahoma City's New Years Eve celebration in 1995. Then in 1999 she rocked Hope Tribe Collective's New Years Eve party in Atlanta, Georgia. Spinning her mix of Underground House, earning a residency with Hope Tribe until 2002. In 2003 David from Braindrops, SF, CA asked her to spin at the Castro St. Fair. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the Function One Sound system was incredible, DJ TRACY took over the decks that afternoon and suddenly there were 1500-2000 freaky folks grooving to her flawless set in the sun at 18th @ Castro. Earlier this Year at The Endup's New Year's Day 2004 Celebration, DJ TRACY played a phenomenal set to a great crowd. Martel from Release was there as were a lot of other heads. Martel was so impressed with DJ TRACY's skills and music selection that he had her guest dj at Release @ 1015 Folsom. On March 13, 2004, for the first time since 1997, DJ TRACY was back in the Main Room at 1015 Folsom. The crowd really got into the vibe that she brought to the club. With three new residencies so far, including Grooveyard on the 4th Sunday of every month @ The Oasis in Oakland, CA with Markie (Wicked), 2004 looks like it's shaping up to be a great year of great parties and great tunes.

DJ TRACY has been working in the studio, creating her own music with her husband and sound engineer, TAO (Oboro Records, The Grill Recording Studio), who has mastered tracks such as '20 Minutes of Disco Glory' by Garth and ETI on Wicked Records, and numerous ETI Releases on Oboro Records.

DJ TRACY and TAO currently have one release out on Silver Pearl Records called 'Love Supreme'.

There's definitely more to come from this groovy duo.

Stay Tuned........
