FREDDY MCGUIRE
Freddy McGuire is a collaboration between musician Wobbly and singer/filmmaker Anne McGuire. In the words of stretcher.org, “Anne + VideoAnne seamlessly banter, harmonize and trade leads as they go though a selection of McGuire's greatest hits and classic covers.” Long-time collaborator Wobbly processes, distorts, and creates an equally absurdist rendition (including the sense of the word meaning “to tear”) of the backing tracks of Anne’s songs.

HALF OF HALF
Half of Half is an Oakland-based rock quartet who also work with video projection, creative writing, and theater. Their explorations over the past couple years culminated in a multimedia play, Antipodes, which was featured at the 2012 San Francisco Fringe Festival. Antipodes was a collection of vignettes, songs, video, poetry, dance, and acting that we performed in collaboration with actors, Chad Dickerson and Emma Si Nae. It was written and directed by Half of Half member, John Bliss with contributions from playwright, Mike Mathieu,and poet, Zach Savich. Half of Half includes new member, Reina Lam, a vocalist and video artist who sang and narrated scenes in the play. The other three members of Half of Half have been playing together since 2010, when John Bliss (vocals, keys, guitar, and video) recruited Leonard Emma, a versatile rock guitarist and bassist, and Rob Ewing, an eclectic jazz drummer and multi-instrumentalist after being a long-time fan of Rob’s electrojazz arrangements of Radiohead in a band called Disappear Incompletely.
ZEEK SHECK
Zeek Sheck started as a comic book about the world of SONAN. After a few years, the Zeek Sheck comic evolved into a musical narrative with the promise of a five-album series — the fifth of which, a double LP called JOINUS, will be out this summer on Resipiscent Records. This segment of the musical, JOINUS, is about a young man who tries to find his way out of a vast and complex underground maze.
