The Dirty Downtown Jazz Syndicate has made it their mission to reclaim the cool, moody, sexy vibe that jazz used to have back in the good old days. The members of the band, all top-notch musicians who have gigged throughout the state, came together out of love of both music and movies and the ultra-cool feelings jazz can evoke, as well as the desire to throw a curve ball at the ears of the listener. Their sound can best be described as "a swingin' surfin' James Bond meets Jessica Rabbit."
