Born and raised in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, former USSR, Dina brought her southern charm, passion for music and love for teaching to sunny California in the winter of 1992. After completion of her first Master Degree in Music, Theory, Piano and second Master Degree in Voice at the Conservatory of Music in Tbilisi and performed in many classical European and Russian operas.

Her teaching experience expands over thirty years. Some of her extensive skills include teaching college-level piano, accompaniment and voice techniques. Her teaching methods are based on emphasis and analysis of music form, history, and theory. Moreover, her approach based on relating to each and every student on their level and helping them uncover and nourish their potentials.

In spite of her many successes, her greatest achievements come from the accomplishments of her students, whose talents she nurtures with great patience. One can see the pride on her face, when she talks about many of her students who receive the highest music awards or who achieve first place in the toughest of competitions.
