Words from Wendy: I am interested in storytelling, cities, talking to strangers, drawing as a means of looking and learning about a place and people, social responsibility of creative folk, the consequences of image making, opportunities to get off the beaten track and do awesome things, or better yet, how to look at the beaten track with fresh eyes and see common things in a new light. Getting out of our comfort zones. Learning to listen. Being a part of a city and what that really means. Also, I am trained as an artist, a social worker and an advertiser (I've been both a copywriter and a strategist). My work uses all of these things. So there's all that.
