Frustrated with your new cellphone, computer, or living room remote controls? Do you really understand your washing machine, dishwasher or all the options on your car's dashboard?
Don Norman, well-known speaker and author of the best selling book "Design of Everyday Things" (with a newly revised edition to be published November 5) explains why it isn't your fault: it is bad design.
Don has devoted his career to helping companies make stuff that people can actually use. A distinguished professor, former VP of Apple, and now a consultant for companies in Europe, the U.S. and Asia will share his experiences, leaving lots of time for discussion with the audience. (Note that some of the illustrations in his book were taken from MOAH's collection: he lives next door).
Just remember next time you have trouble - it isn't your fault.
