DeFremery Recreation Center, housed in a historic Victorian style building in the heart of West Oakland, offers many cultural, educational, and recreational programs for youth and teens. Popular programming includes the African Dance class and Summer Day Camp.
Serving as one of the few recreation centers with a swimming pool, deFremery also features tennis courts, basketball courts, softball field, skate park, and a rentable space for meetings and weddings.
