Betty Brown, Ann Custer and Jane Fish will present a panel discussion on Alzeimer’s and Dementia Diseases, sharing their various journeys in dealing with these complex health issues. Afterwards, everyone is invited to the Social Hall to continue the discussion in an informal setting.
This is part of East County Shared Ministry’s ongoing “Continuing the Conversation,” a quarterly series of interactive discussions about issues often found to be difficult. Based on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Building the Beloved Community” concepts, previous topics include a poverty simulation and developing better listening skills to understand opposing points of view.
Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, ALL are welcome here. We recognize, celebrate and give thanks for the many diverse gifts of God among us. Everyone is invited to participate in community and worship including, but not limited to, believers, seekers, agnostics, women and men, those of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions, those of all races and cultures, those of all classes and abilities, those who hope for a better world and those who have lost hope.
