(de)-COMPOSITION; a collaborative exhibition featuring Enya Lachman-Curl and Kelly Nicolaisen

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Through the mediums of Photography and Oil Painting these two young artists blur the lines between portraiture and landscape.

Kelly presents figures that become characters in the fantasy of their surroundings. Her bold hues and attention to space make for striking compositions that turn everyday life into a surreal experience.

Enya examines society’s attitude towards craft, commodities and consumerism bringing attention to our self-destructive nature. Drawing inspiration from the works of J.G. Ballard and Richard Smithson she portrays a warped world where our blind drive for progress has surrendered to the action of entropy.
