Breakup Records presents Dangermaker, El Terrible (feat. Terry Ashkinos of Fake Your Own Death), & Taxes... Come celebrate with Dangermaker at their signing party with Breakup Records!!!

DANGERMAKER

During the first week of tracking their debut full-length, Dangermaker's lead singer Adam Burnet’s father suffered a fatal accident and suddenly passed away. In the end, the unifying experience of loss led to an increased depth of creative character that defines their brilliant new release. Their highly anticipated record, Black Dream is dark, energetic, and distinctively human. Channeling 70′s Bowie, The Clash, The Stooges, and Interpol, this core of passionate musicians has crafted a provocative debut album, which has led to recent showcases at SXSW and CMJ, propelling the band forward into 2014.

EL TERRIBLE

Terry Ashkinos of Fake Your Own Death (Monolathe Recordings) and Producer Rob Easson spent the summer of 2013 in Rob's home studio obsessively crafting a new collection written by Ashkinos during his extended stay in Berlin earlier in the year. The EP features Sierra Frost of Clintongore and Dan Francisco of Fake Your Own Death and Every Move a PIcture. These sessions bear a sound much darker and more sparse than Fake Your own Death, wrought with post-punk urgency. The EP will come out in early 2014 on Breakup Records.

“It’s Always Something” is the latest album from the infamous San Francisco indie rock band, Taxes, and gaging by just the first few tracks, it’s definitely their most powerful thus far. This new release from Taxes builds mightily on the accomplished sound of their debut, This is Going To End Badly, and gives you a deeper look at love, or the lack thereof.
