Cyber Sunday: V.2.0 "SF is dead. Long live SF"
Cyber Sunday is a new weekly event at Cat Club in SF, showcasing the best in Cyberpunk related music and culture. Join us on April 28th for our second installation, as we bring you the best DJs spinning Cyberpunk, Midtempo Bass, Synthwave, Chiptune, Electro, Breaks, Techno, Phonk, Industrial, EBM, and anything else we deem banging/dark/hard/awesome.
Other events that inspire us would be: Turbo Drive, Interzone, Death Guild, and Night.Wav.
This is a multi-genre, community based event, so please look out for one another, and treat people as you would like to be treated. Introduce yourself to other cyber freaks, but respect boundaries.
Retro video games will be set up with a rotating selection of games each week.
This week we will have a Sega Genesis bootleg emulator with all the Sonic games and a few other classic gems.
We'll have a small popcorn machine that you can help yourself to. No charge.
Feel free to bring fun things to contribute to the event. This can be snacks to share, a video game for people to play, glow sticks to hand out, or whatever. Let's make this feel like an epic house party and build a community. SF needs it now more than ever.
Costumes and outfits of the Dystopian/Futurism/Sci-Fi/Horror variety are encouraged, but not required. Just come be yourself and enjoy some slammin tunes for zero dollars, but we would absolutely love to see you dressed in your Cyber Sunday best.
