Crystal Jade, located in San Francisco’s Embarcadero Center with sweeping views of the waterfront and the Bay Bridge, announces its inaugural New Year’s Eve celebration – coined “Shanghai Jazz Soirée.” The event will feature fine cuisine, music and dancing for an evening that resembles Shanghai’s Old Jazz Era with a modern twist. A legacy of the international city's colonial history, Shanghai Jazz is a beautiful fusion that came about as the result of combining Chinese lyricism and Chinese singers with American jazz.
The restaurant will be serving a special prix fixe menu with a complimentary glass of Moët & Chandon for all guests to enjoy plus live music from the Jessica Fichot Band, a French-Chinese-American-inspired chanteuse, songwriter and accordionist, DJ entertainment beginning at midnight, a “best dressed” contest during each seating, and access to the outdoor patio with spectacular views of the fireworks over the Bay Bridge.
Menu Highlights: Roasted Pork Belly & Peking Duck Roll; Pan-Fried Fresh Scallop with Foie Gras; Braised Ee-Fu Noodle with Lobster & Black Truffle; BBQ Pork Ribs in Pineapple Sauce with “Mantou” Bun; and Mango Puree with Sago and Pomelo with Ice Cream.
