May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To celebrate, Young Minds Advocacy will be hosting a kick off event to fight stigma and support youth mental health advocacy!
1 in 5 young people have or will have a mental health condition. Yet only 20% of youth with mental health needs receive treatment, even less receive effective care. We can do better.
Whether you’re a young person, caregiver, clinician, educator, advocate, or policy maker, we need your help to improve the mental health system for youth–so that youth with mental health needs can succeed in school, build lasting relationships, and lead hopeful and fulfilling lives.
Join us for a night of “Creative Advocacy” to improve the lives of youth and families in our community and throughout California!
