SEE EVENT DETAILS
On the Third Thursday of each month, YBCA combines drinks, food, and music with creative and exciting art happenings. From 5-8 come together, enjoy free access to our world class galleries, and be part of the art at YBCA.

In December, join YBCA for a winter celebration with local anthropologist Cari Borja. All evening long, Borja invites us to gather around a communal table featuring bites, beverages, and entertainment by some of the Bay Areas most acclaimed creative makers, including: James Beard winning writer Laura Werlin; executive chef of RN74, Michael Mina, and Middle’terranea Adam Sobel; sommelier and partner of Sandhi Wines and Domaine de la Côte Rajat Parr; Hannah Hoffman of Doughnut Dolly; Redbay Coffee’s Keba Konte; wine director and owner of A16 Shelley Lindgren; and a special Butoh dance performance by Deborah Butler.

5 PM Communal Table Opens, Plus Film Screening, Grand Lobby
Cari Borja presents a visual collage on the art of gathering along with an experimental sound installation in collaboration with multimedia artist Christopher Willets.

5:30 PM Guided tour of Radical Presence, Downstairs Galleries
Gallery Guide Rhonda Pagnozzi will lead a 30-minute tour of Office Space and Work in Progress: Investigations South of Market. Meet at the exhibition entrance.

6:45 Butoh Performance, Grand Lobby
