Artist and producer Rob Jackson has been making and selling art, education, and entertainment products, services, and events since the 1990’s. In addition to the non-fiction education products he makes, his business, The Equilibrium Institute (EI), includes arts divisions doing business as RipStar (music) and Plumatorium / Art Tour (visual art).
By early 2000, Rob Jackson’s multi-media projects had served hundreds of participants including artists and innovators. With help from media sponsors his projects and events reached audiences well over one million people. Participants continue to expand into new territories all over the world, serving a wide demographic and positively influencing a growing audience. Rob said, “we are creating innovative solutions to global challenges by working together and sharing resources.”
Since 2012, Rob supports the American Red Cross and the Rafael House monthly by donating 25% of his profits. In the last decade he has served nearly 100 acts producing 40+ live events. The programs he directs have won sponsorship from over a dozen small and large businesses.
RipStar has served 60,000+ patrons boosting business and web traffic in select venues. Multiple radio, print, and television interviews are conducted annually. Rob has raised over $60,000 for artists during a challenging economic climate. Rob Jackson is a multimedia artist (painter, naïve musician, researcher, director and publisher.) He represents artists, directs and produces a variety of products/events and leads Equilibrium Institute. He is credentialed with a Masters Degree and partial PHD (Public Policy) is an Analyst, Ontologist, Certified Teacher, and Certified Legal Aide. Rob recently entered the commercial art world and created “Backline”, his new T-shirt design clothing line which features art that can be worn. His main work is increasing Global Peace & security through knowledge, art, and music. He also paints and leads an alternative band called Devil’s Wife to denote what he professes is “an inescapable bond with polar realities of being alive and interconnected in mutually reliant relationships” Rob also works as a property Manager, but states his most important job is being a dad.
Rob’s made helpful contributions to The State of California managing millions is assets. He recommended key growth changes for Myspace, Reverbnation, Sony Soundforge and Themusiciansatlas.com in addition to building business in multiple bay area music venues. Salvatore Rascati is a surrealist illustrator. This award-winning artist has over 35 years of experience producing art professionally in painting, sculpture, illustrations, and murals. Salvatore is in prestigious collections all over the world. Mr. Rascati is from New Haven Connecticut and is a decorated VET of the Vietnam era. Sal is regarded to most gifted illustrator in Rob’s network.
M.C. Lenehan A.K.A. Rainbow is an impressionist painter, poet, and songwriter. He says, “In my artwork and in my life, I try to replace sorrow with joy, hate with love and war with peace. It is my hope that my paintings will soften the heart of humanity” M.C. Lenehan is an Ohio Native from the 1960’s era. His collectors reside San Francisco, New York, and Mexico. Not unlike many artists he is disabled, but open about his condition. Rob assisted Rainbow from the time of his youth having met Rainbow when he was 17. Rainbow influenced Rob as an artist as did all the artists he represents. Rob also recorded every song Rainbow made in exchange for a four track, which Rainbow bought but could not operate. Consequently everything Rob recorded and shared is in part thanks to this artist.
Cade Burkhammer is an award winning painter and touring drummer from Cleveland, Ohio, now living in Petaluma, CA. Cade has enjoyed showcasing and selling his art all over the U.S. since the 90’s.
Cade states, “Within the need for the expression of un-dictated reality, the confines of conditioning and cultural aesthetic are blown open by potent images that emerge from the collective unconscious. It is my intention to represent both the power of this ongoing dream and its accessibility through individual interpretation.” Mr. Burkhammer is presenting select works from a tarot deck he has designed, which combines traditional wisdom and his own experiences into a functional form of art. Cade’s new work displays his innovative technique that mixes a chaotic abstract technique blended with figurative drawings set against a textured background using watercolors, colored pencils, and crayons. Rob and Cade have been friends since Antioch college, where they met in the early 1990’s.
Leonardo Ferri’s photography presents time and shows emotion in a refreshing and invigorating way. The world portrayed through his lens captures a diverse and inspiring array of subjects, from breathtaking buildings and landscapes- to people. The city-scape photos he is presenting are of particular interest because those images show the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area as one of the wonders of the world. Leonardo lives in Marin County and only recently begun sharing his work. He is gaining many invitations and a strong response from audiences.
