Our next show is on the 3rd of September featuring comics Jordan Cerminara, Chris Conatser, Adam Pearlstein, Nathan Habib , Anthony Medina and Jules Posner!
Feature: Anthony Medina
Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, Anthony Medina knew his artistic outlets were very limited. In fact, opportunities for just any positive outlet were scarce. After graduating from high school in East Lost Angeles, Anthony attended the University of San Francisco & in 2006 completed his BA in communications. Then in 2008, he took the biggest challenge his life, comedy. Throughout his life Anthony was looking for the a new passion & with comedy, he found it. This past year was a great one for Anthony, not just comedic, but with the launching of his radio show, “Pick Me Up Radio” & comedy showcase “Good Times in the Grotto.” But the biggest accomplishment was launching True Hustle Entertainment. The truth is in the hustle mentality, Anthony looks to take on new challenges. In 2013, True Arts Education will be launched. It will be programs dedicated towards establishing the next generation’s artists. Contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org
Headliner: Jules Posner
Jules Posner is like if the cool older kid who used to buy you beer ended up becoming a comedian instead of a meth dealer. The most relaxed man in California, Jules mixes laid-back observations, laid-back riffing and laid-back flannel shirts into an act that has won him constant bookings at every major comedy club in the Bay Area. He is one of those comics whose writing and delivery make standup seem like it’s just a funny person talking off the top of their head, and reality isn’t far behind the illusion, his riffing pacing his written material in quality.
Jules has been featured on Jokes.com’s No Drink Minimum and Rooftopcomedy.com’s Road Trip on Hulu. He also performs regularly at SF Sketchfest, is a member of The Business, and was named “not a poser” by Skateboard Magazine’s “are you a poser” quiz. When he’s not doing comedy, Jules enjoys keeping it real.
