Come Out & Play Festival: Urban Exploration Games (Free Event)

Not all those who wander are lost!
Discover new dimensions of the world around you as you explore the park through puzzle hunts, interactive poetry walks, and more. These games use the landscape and natural affordances of Fort Mason to shape your experience and craft challenges. Games generally last anywhere from 15-60 minutes, and game runners will be on hand to help you learn the rules.
Among other exploratory experiences, you can expect “Bookshelf” by Andrew Cedotal which plays out in the Maritime Research Center and “Computational Flaneur” (working title) by Mike Lazer-Walker from MIT Media Lab’s Playful Systems research group which presents a generative poetry audio experience. Complete list of games and detailed schedule TBA.
All games are FREE to play – stop by the Chapel anytime to register and pick up a schedule of events. Games will be played throughout the park. Comfortable shoes and sunscreen recommended.
