Colonel & The Mermaids
Colonel & the Mermaids is a psychedelic rock band from San Francisco fronted by Alex Koford. With rootes soaking up the kool-aid left behind by past generations of psych rock, the band mixes the electrifying sounds of acid California rock with the mellow side of ambient indie folk.
Drive by the Lead Vocals and Song Writing of Alex Koford, Colonel & the Mermaids explores original song material in creative and interesting ways from night to night. You can find the band monthly at Phil Lesh’s music venue and restaurant, Terrapin Crossroads, in San Rafael, CA.

Scary Little Friends
The rock brainchild of Chris Jones with Charlie Knote on drums and Jon Payne on bass. Chris built his own studio in the Mission district to record their debut album, “From the Beginning”, which features lilting vocals (ala Jeff Buckley) and surfs-up psychedelic guitar; a trademark of the “San Francisco Sound”. Based in both San Francisco with underlying southern soul roots, strong songwriting is really the bread and butter of this band.

Scary Little Friend’s live shows combine an understated professionalism with raw talent. They connect with their audience the old-fashioned way by offering authentic heartfelt performances that fulfill our desire to connect. No gimmicks, no tricks. Just great songs about what you were thinking but couldn’t say.

Since forming in early 2013, the band has quickly risen in the ranks of the Bay Area music scene and was nominated “Band of the Month” by Deli Magazine in August 2014. In September of that same year their music video for “Devil’s Heart” debuted on CMT’s ‘The Edge’. They have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle and Relix Magazine. They made a strong showing in their first year of playing festivals, appearing at Phono del Sol, Whole Earth, Mateel Summer Arts & Music, VertigoFest and Davis Music. They’ve been featured at renowned Bay Area venues such as the Chapel, Brick & Mortar Music Hall, Bottom of the Hill, Rio Theatre, Moe’s Alley, Kuumbwa Jazz, Don Quixote’s, Leo’s Music Club, Harlow’s, HopMonk Tavern, Miners Foundry, Live at Lagunitas, and Grateful Dead hubs Terrapin Crossroads and Sweetwater Music Hall. They have shared the stage with national touring acts Norah Jones, Delta Spirit, Boy & Bear, Chuck Prophet, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Streets of Laredo, Soft White Sixties, Achilles Wheel, Caravan Palace, Stone Foxes, Jimbo Mathus, Baptist Generals, Debauche, Jail Weddings, Coffis Brothers and Terrapin Crossroads staple Midnight North.

Camino
Camino is composed of Katya Greene (lead vocals), Chris Robison (guitar), John Swick (drums/
backup vocals), David Pelletier (bass), Dane Pryce (congas, percussion), Lane Hiers (timbales, percussion).
The band originally formed in 2013 and has been bringing musical excitement to venues around the Bay Area. Camino is a powerful blend of Latin, Afrobeat, and Funk. Loaded with World rhythms, powerful female vocals and saxophone, Camino's spirited performances leave audiences feeling uplifted and excited to dance.
