Join Heather Peters for a weekend of Collage and Encaustic Painting in beautiful Point Reyes. You'll spend the two days working on composition, narrative, and wax encaustic finishing techniques. Please bring collage elements, though the wooden panels and wax will be provided. Class $250 for both days, additional materials fee $20 paid to the instructor on the day of class
Visiting Artist, Heather Peters (Pratt) is an artist and writer inspired by the impact that nature has on stories. She illustrates both the details of the natural world and her own stories. She is a MFA candidate in Book Arts at Mills College, and is responsible for paper-making at Magnolia Editions.
