The Asian Art Museum and the Society for Art and Cultural Heritage of India (SACHI) present a classical North Indian flute concert in celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights. Join us for an afternoon of melodic music by two acclaimed maestros, G. S. Sachdev and Swapan Chaudhuri. Get into the spirit of the day in the galleries beforehand with two Diwali-inspired tales, Lakshmi and the Clever Washerwoman, and Savitri, by the museum’s talented storytellers. Storytelling begins at 1 pm.
