Bridget is a recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, the 2012 Classical Recording Foundation's Young Artist Award, and winner of Concert Artist Guild's International Competition and Astral Artist Auditions. Bridget's debut album, Love is Come Again, was named one of the Top Ten Releases by Time Out New York. She may also be heard on Deutsche Grammaphon with Dawn Upshaw, on a recording of Osvaldo Golijov's Ayre and Luciano Berio's Folk Songs.
In demand for her ability to stretch the genre and scope of the harp, Bridget was featured with some of today's most compelling world and jazz artists in recording an album with producer Robert Sadin and Placido Domingo, entitled Encanto del Mar - released this year on SONY Records.
Ms. Kibbey's solo performances have been broadcast on NPR'sPerformance Today, on New York's WQXR and Q2 Radio, WNYC's Soundcheck, WETA's Front Row Washington, WRTI's Crossover, and A&E's Breakfast with the Arts.
Ms. Kibbey is featured annually with the Chamber Music Society in Lincoln Center in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall and on tour. She has been featured as soloist and chamber artist in festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, Pelotas festival (Brazil), Journeés de les Harpes (France), Savannah, Tanglewood, Bay Chamber, Pacific Northwest, Bravo!Vail, Bridgehampton, and Portland Chamber Music Festivals. This season Bridget was named a Principal Artist with the West Coast's prestigious Camerata Pacifica, performing solo and chamber music masterworks in the Los Angeles area. She tours internationally with the Knights Chamber Orchestra and the International Contemporary Ensemble, and will be a featured recitalist across the United States.
