Celebrate the Year of the Snake at Chinese Historical Society of America Museum.
Usher in the New Year at Chinese Historical Society of America Museum with a full day of family activities that include:
11am, Dragon dance
11am-4pm, Special Exhibition "Hats Off: A Playful Collection of Chinese Children's Hats" showing vintage Chinese children’s hats recently donated to the CHSA collection from Leslie Selcow in honor of Jade Snow Wong. See how young children were dressed to celebrate the New Year in their fantastic hats!
1pm, Crafts for Children - Make your own hat inspired by the vintage hats.
2:30pm, Miss Janet the Planet and Uncle Charlie with Songs, Jokes, Puppets and Fun for ages 4 and up. Playing the concertina and er hu, they will celebrate children’s songs in English, Mandarin and Spanish.
