Set at Bimbo’s 365 Club, Celebrate Rock ‘n’ Roll will pay tribute to the history of San Francisco’s amazing rock ‘n’ roll music scene. Celebrate Rock ‘n’ Roll is the premier event accompanying the Museum’s acclaimed new exhibition, Somethin’s Happening Here: Bay Area Rock ‘n’ Roll 1963-1973.

Proceeds from Celebrate Rock ‘n’ Roll will support Bay Area performing arts education and preservation at the Museum of Performance & Design.

JUST ANNOUNCED:
The highlight of the evening will be a performance by original 1960s psychedelic rock band, Quicksilver Messenger Service. The band will be joined by Cold Blood, another seminal band from the 1960s Bay Area rock scene. In addition, the party will feature a special guest appearance by singer, songwriter, and producer Narada Michael Walden and special emcee Ben Fong-Torres.

The Celebrate Rock ‘n’ Roll gala will include a cocktail reception, dinner catered by Dan McCall, dancing, live performances and an After-Party.
