Celebrate National Margarita Day at Blackbird with Suerte Tequila

In celebration, Blackbird will host Suerte tequila and offer two cocktail specials, the Gilded Hare (below) as well as Suerte tequila classic margarita all day plus Senor Larry’s Seven Layer Bean Dip Bar Jar (new.)
Drink:
National Margarita Day special cocktail: The Gilded Hare $9
1.5oz Suerte Silver Tequila
.5oz Gonzales Byass Amontillado Sherry
.5oz Cinnamon Syrup
.5 Grapefruit
.5 Lime
5 Drops of Bittermens Hellfire Shrub
This winter influenced margarita is a tad complex. Suerte Blanco tequila, amontillado sherry, lime, grapefruit, cinnamon and habanero. Big bright tequila flavors up front and a warm lingering finish of spice and wood with just enough kick to warm your mouth without the burn.

Senor Larry’s seven layer bean dip bar jar $11
Delicious layers of Suerte Tequila Braised Black Beans, Roasted Beet Pico de Gallo, Green Chili Queso, Guacamole, Tangy Salsa Verde, Reposado Infused Creme Fraiche, and Marinated Olives served in a Jar with Corn Tortilla Chips.
Additional Tequila Tastings by Suerte:
Suerte Tequila’s California Brand Ambassador Summer, Jane Bell, will also be on hand from 6:00-8:00 pm for a free tasting of the tequila expressions straight --Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.
