Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at Shoreline Lake

Mountain View's Shoreline Lake will be the place for both military and non-military to enjoy a relaxing, waterfront option for the long Memorial Day weekend, with three laid-back days of fun, and tasty, outdoor activities...in a unique nature preserve within the heart of Silicon Valley.
Along with the Aquatic Center providing active military service members and their families with a 50% discount (through June 30th) on watersports rentals and lessons, everyone can take advantage of the Cafe patio's lovely lakeside view, as weekend brunch will be extended into Memorial Day itself. In addition to Shoreline's popular pedalboat/picnic basket option, the customized picnic basket/watercraft combos normally reserved for specialty requests will also be available: Packages are based on the six options available for prepared picnic baskets, type of watercraft – sailboat (with or without skipper), rowboat and canoe – and amount of time requested for the rental.
Even with these offerings, the more "I'll do it my way" types can still opt for the regular Lakeside Cafe menu, and the prepared picnic baskets will also be available separately, in addition to real French pastries, a whole host of other watersports and land-based activities, plus much more...all by the water's edge, and right next door to Google.
