Contemporary art and independent film collide for five days in Carmel-by-the-Sea during the Carmel International Film Festival. The festival features art in almost every medium including music, fine art and, of course, film. Events will be scattered throughout the artist's haven of Carmel-by-the-Sea with the Sunset Cultural Center as the hub for the event.
Over 100 films will be shown for five days straight beginning Wednesday, October 15th. Film categories include narrative, feature, documentary, short, animation and student films. Venues include the Sunset Center, the Cherry Center for the Arts, the Adobe Theater and the Carmel High School Performing Arts Center.
