CAREER CHANGE: TRANSITIONING TO PROGRAMMING

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at General Assembly SF - Hattery (see times)
Making a career switch can be a thrilling and, for many, a daunting task. Whether you’re just beginning to think about taking the leap or you're in the middle of the process, it's easy to get overwhelmed. How do you know when to leave your current role and how do you best position yourself for your next?

Patsy Price was in this position not long a go. She was a program manager at Google but was growing bored of her job. She wanted to learn how to code to build cool products she was actually passionate about. Patsy took the leap and quit Google after 8 years. She learned to code, and now works as a web developer for SmartZip. Patsy's story was featured in the following New York Times article.
