In 2016, the National Park Service (NPS) is turning one hundred! This fall, NPS is kicking off the centennial celebration by taking pictures across the country of our nation's most beloved parks - starring park enthusiasts like YOU! We will represent San Francisco with an amazing aerial photo with the historic Golden Gate Bridge as the background. But, we can't do it without you!
Come out and celebrate with us in San Francisco!
Hosted by San Francisco State University's Recreation Parks and Tourism students in coordination with the Nation Park Service, we are proud to invited you to Capturing 100!
Join us no later than 11am, November 14th to form a giant "100" on Crissy Field in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Be on time to make sure you don't miss the helicopter flying over at noon!
Don't forget to wear your brightest "Golden Gate" Red or Orange shirt to match the bridge and stand out on the grass!
