Caleb Klauder Country Band

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Don Quixote's (see times)
Caleb Klauder Country Band: If you don’t believe in reincarnation, try listening to Caleb Klauder’s music. There’s little other explanation for why a small island Washingtonian can write, play, and sing music that sounds like it should be rolling out of a Great Depression honky-tonk. Born from the heart of Portland, Oregon’s red-hot music scene, Caleb Klauder’s music continues to challenge and transform how we think about roots music in America. "Listening to Caleb Klauder’s latest recording is like entering some eternal country-swing tavern in the sky.” - Seattle Times.

Joshua Lowe and the Juncos: Switching between high-energy, foot-stomping roots music and the intimacy of the singer/songwriter sound Joshua Lowe and the Juncos embrace several American musical traditions at once: folk, blues, jazz, old-timey, and country. With a sense for both storytelling and poetics Joshua Lowe has been dubbed “his generations Woody Guthrie, a great teller of tales,” by the infamous acoustic engineer, Cookie Marenco.
