Business Chicks Breakfast with Jane Wurwand

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join us for our launch event in San Francisco with multimillionaire entrepreneur Jane Wurwand. In 1983 Jane moved from the UK to the US with just a suitcase, beauty school diploma and boyfriend. Jane and her boyfriend-turned-husband, Raymond, founded the International Dermal institute the same year, which now educates more than 75,000 skin therapists every year and can be found in 14 locations around the world. And this is just the prequel to Jane’s entrepreneurial tale; she went on to found cult skincare brand Dermalogica in 1986.

Her business model is a bit unheard of. For starters, she has never taken a bank loan and Dermalogica has remained a privately owned company despite its mammoth size. Today, Dermalogica products are loved for everything they don’t contain (harsh irritants, fragrances) and are the number-one choice of more than 100,000 professional skin therapists; they can be found in more than 80 countries worldwide and have 50 offices.

Since 2010, Jane has been a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, and is part of their Women and Girls Action Committee – and, in 2011, she founded FITE (Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship), an initiative that helps women, especially in developing countries, fulfil their entrepreneurial dreams. And FITE has already helped more than 50,000 women in 68 countries start or grow their own businesses.

This breakfast with Jane will be the perfect way to reward your clients and staff – or come on your own and meet a whole lot of other Business Chicks! You’ll walk away inspired and ready for more.

What you can expect:
A delicious two-course breakfast
The chance to win five-star prizes
A swag bag full to the brim with premium products
Hundreds of like-minded people to meet and connect with

**Registration is at 7.15am
