Run, don’t work on Labor Day. The fifth annual Burlingame Spirit Run is 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5. Runners and walkers can do a 5K or 10K race around Burlingame, starting at Burlingame Intermediate School (BIS) and finishing at Franklin Elementary. Register online at https://www.burlingamespiritrun.com, or on race day at the school from 6:45 a.m.-7:45 a.m. Tickets increase by $10 on race day. For all the serious runners out there, 2015 race times to beat are 00:17:23 (5K) and 00:32:08 (10K).
