The Buriel Clay Memorial Theater located on the first floor of the African American Art & Culture Complex was named after Mr. Buriel Clay, a prominent African American Playwright and Poet from San Francisco. The 210 seat theater has hosted theatrical dramas, dance productions, musical concerts, film and video screenings, seminars and workshops.
