From the colorful and kaleidoscopic geometric patterns of Kristin Farr, to the Japanese-inspired paintings of Candie Bolton, on to the skewed visual perspectives and warped characters of Andrea Heimer, Empire Seven Studios' newest exhibit, "Broad Spectrum," is an all-woman group show featuring artists of varying styles from all over the country. Jennifer Ahn, the gallery's co-owner, curated the show. She used social media to select the art and artists, with the goal of showcasing the struggle of women artists while also giving them a space to share their creative visions. Paintings, illustrations, textiles and more will be on display through Jan. 9. (NV)
