This film sheds light on the production and use of lead-glazed pottery in Mexico, as well as its negative effects on public heath and efforts by artisans to pioneer the use of lead-free glazes and find a market for these new products. Following the screening will be a discussion with the filmmakers Jose Luis Figueroa Lewis, Paola RodrÃguez, and Omar Foglio from Dignicraft and ceramic artisans Ines Leal, Herlinda Morales, and Juan Manuel Rosas MartÃnez.
