Award-winning Bay Area artists Jaime Guerro and Viviana Paredes explores and critiques the issue of over-hunting and the extinction of dialects and cultural custom through their glass art work featured at the Breaking Point exhibition by MACLA, a multicultural art platform which has promoted civic dialogue and social equity. In its 25th anniversary, MACLAC coincides with the Glass Art Conference in San Jose introducing prismatic showcases, using glasses, an fragile and pellucid medium, to talk about sensitive issues. Breaking Point allows its audience to see through and reflect on the social issue revolving around our diverse community.
