Time to pull out your pastel colors, awesome leg warmers, big hair, headbands, black-and-white Vans sneakers, and big plastic jewelry – because this is going to be a rad retro party, done up Bootie-style! Main Room DJs A Plus D and opening DJ JimiG will be mashing up the best ‘80s music from every genre, mixing them with songs from every era, all night long! At 11 PM, house band Smash-Up Derby takes the stage for a live set of ‘80s rock mashups, while drag group extraordinaire The Speed Queens throw down a bitchin’ Midnight Mashup Show!
In the Lounge, it’s Cirque du Cliché, as DJs Airsun and Entyme spin music guaranteed to keep your feet bouncing on the dance floor. In Above, it’s BoomSwing Cabaret, as DJ JsinJ & Damien/Smudge tempt swing dancers and club dancers alike with authentic swing music laced with throbbing house beats. Singer Sevon Caneri mashes up elegance with electronica and jazz fetishism, singing over live beats shortly after midnight. And finally, Bump Twerk Boom takes over the Dazzle Room, with DJs Rockit and Ryan Andrew making you bump, sweat, and grind with bootie-twerking bass!
