THE PINE BOX BOYS (SF) If you're a traditional bluegrass purist and/or you like your bluegrass soft, quiet, and covered in flowers and bunnies, you might not want to come to this show, or you’re gonna be in for quite a surprise. The Pine Box Boys don’t play your Grandfather's bluegrass – their music can only be described as "Southern Horrorbilly". It’s a blend of Americana, bluegrass, rock, metal, layered in dark overtones, and often covered in blood.

THE FUCKING BUCKAROOS (San Francisco)
The Buckaroos formed in 2004 and play what they call “Punk Rock Americana”. Both their originals and their interpretations of country/folk/bluegrass standards, are often riotous, profane and filled with trouble, toil and bloodshed; but they also reflect a deep sense of compassion, hilarity and a demand for social justice. The Buckaroos will make you want to fight, fornicate, laugh and cry, all at the same time.

THE HARMED BROTHERS (Eugene, Oregon)
Americana/folk-rock/indiegrass, The Harmed Brothers create a sound both melodic and raucous, gutsy and vulnerable and are often compared to groups such as The Avett Brothers and the highly influential Uncle Tupelo. Anyone who's heard and/or seen them live can experience those dynamics alive well in both their high energy, string snapping, boot stomping live performances and heartfelt storytelling which equally showcase the songwriting.

KEMO SABE (SF)
You asked for it San Francisco. Here you go- the reunion of Kemo Sabe!
Anyone that knows this band, knows Kemo Sabe are a rare breed. One could go their entire life without seeing another band just like Kemo Sabe. Their unique style of "alt-bluegrass" has got them both, praise for being an amazing band, and booed off the stage for not being an amazing bluegrass band. Kemo Sabe are NOT bluegrass! Sure they play on acoustic instruments; mandolin, guitar, stand up bass, but they rock out with the force of an angry, yet funny, yet drunken, yet amazing punk band - who
happen to play on acoustic instruments.
