BeyondBurma was created with passion for food and inspiration to share Burmese culture in the most diverse city, San Francisco. When the founder came to US in 2000, she had only one thing in mind. It was to live the American dream by running her own business and introducing delicious Burmese cuisine. Little did she know, Burmese food was already popular and well liked by many. However, she found that there was more demand than supply and most keep their menus very simple. That's why the founders decided to come up with something more authentic but also with a few twists to the menu.
