BEYOND - A Circus Tribute to Beyoncé!
A special benefit for The Uncle Junior Project

You don't have to be a fan to acknowledge that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is heir to the title of the hardest working woman in pop music. Her career spans decades of hit songs, blockbuster movies, and killer dance routines, inspiring artists of all genres.

This unique circus show pays homage to Queen Bey, weaving traditional elements of circus with Beyoncé's catalog of cornerstone hits. Enjoy incredible feats of circus artistry set to "Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” “Halo,” and more - including a few Destiny's Child fan favorites.

WHAT IS "The Uncle Junior Project"?

"The Uncle Junior Project" is a feature length documentary that weaves the story of wild animal trainer Emanuel "Junior" Ruffin, with Veronica Blair's journey across America to document and archive relatively unknown African-American circus performers. The film through intimate interviews will capture their unique stories of life on the road, and under the big top. What inspired them to run away with the circus, and how we fit into an ostracized realm of entertainment where African-American performers are not traditionally present.

All individual interviews and footage from the film will be donated to the Robert L. Parkinson Library and Research Center at the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin; as well as the Schomburg Center for research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York .

Research and pre-production for TUJP began in October 2010. In mid-January 2011, we began filming. Our first artist profile was on PARIS the Hip Hop Juggler from Harlem N.Y., after a day of shooting we knew we had something special. Since then we have completed 20 interviews in 6 cities, but we still have a long way to go. All proceeds from BEYOND will go towards filming and editing expenses for the TUJP.

COME OUT, HAVE FUN, and BE ENTERTAINED by some of the Bay Area's FINEST! All while supporting a great film!
