SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Little House Activity Center (see times)
This lecture explores Winogrand’s work in the context of the many photographers who took to the streets to capture American culture during the mid-20th century and beyond. The presentation features images by contemporaries including Robert Frank, Diane Arbus, and Lee Friedlander, along with newly uncovered images developed from thousands of rolls of film found after Winogrand’s death. Video of the artist on the street taking pictures offers insight into Winogrand at work and his motivation.
