Beretta's Cocktail Class Series

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Our hands-on cocktail class series IS BACK for a 2016 season. With a series curated by Beretta's new (and first-ever female!) Bar Manager California (Cali) Gold, and kicking off with a class on low-proof cocktails (hello, day drinking!) on June 28, you know it's going to be a solid course.

#BerettaCocktailClasses

DEETS.:
Students will be placed at an individual workstation and will be provided with a full set of tools for creating (and drinking) 3 full-size cocktails like a pro.. Cali will educate on the featured spirit and Beretta's kitchen will supply a crucial assortment of snacks. PLUS, at the end of the series extra credit (in the form of a $100 gift card to Beretta!) will be given to students with perfect attendance.

DATES:
June 28 | Low-Proof Cocktails
Explore the unknown depths of the category of low-proof cocktails; Most folks don't know that sherry, vermouth and port make for excellent cocktail bases. They're perfect for kicking off the summer right--and staying safe and hydrated in the summer heat (this obviously pertains only to those planning on taking trips outside the city this summer!). Plus, if you make 'em right, you'll have plenty of tasty cocktails to take you through the day and keep you partying into the night.

July 26 | Rum and Cane Spirits
Beretta's July class will be on all-things cane spirits. We're talking rum, cachaca and other sugar-based delights (read: daiquiris and margaritas for days). Cane spirits are natural party enhancers and are a great option in the middle of summer, when many people are in summer vacay mode and looking to GO. HARD.

August 30 | Agave
The Zapotec, an indigenous pre-Columbian civilization that flourished in the Valley of Oaxaca more than 2,500 years ago, enjoyed agave way before margaritas became a thing. When toasting to one another, the Zapotec would do so with a copita of mezcal in hand and utter the word, "Stigibeu," which roughly translates to "the lifeforce that is around us." Join us at Beretta for the last class of the series as we examine the vast differences in expressions of the almighty agave plant. Beretta will supply the tequila, mezcal and snacks. (BYO wheelbarrow.)
