You know Toph, we know Toph, youz over there in the corner know him too. Well, sad to say, our main man Toph was in a hit n run accident the other night and he's in hospital at the moment. We're throwin' a benefit for him on the 20th and if you've sat in Dalva every week listening to him spin a fluid amalgam of any type of beat under the sun you'll wanna come.

Also if you have a Muni senior's pass you might have caught him way back when he used to spin at Liquid (and just in case there's any beginners reading this it's called SOM now) on Thursdays with TK Disko and other miscreants. He's one of the best guys when it comes to mashing house and hip-hop. He's one of the best guys period, he's ridden on the Aids ride for years, been a writer at XLR8R and a host of other publications for eons, a graffiti artist and is just a straight-up SF OG mainstay wherever beats are being played loud and a set of decks need to be properly manned or womanned.

So get your a... — I mean yourself — down to the Works on January 20th and support the man, raise a glass, shake your a...— I mean hands — and wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
