GUEST

Jess Lee is CEO and co-founder of Polyvore. Prior to co-founding Polyvore, Lee was a product manager at Google, where she worked on Google Maps and launched features including My Maps and draggable driving directions.

After four years at Google, Lee became addicted to making Polyvore sets and contacted founder Pasha Sadri with a set of product suggestions. After an informal meeting, Jess joined the company. The rest, as they say, is history. Jess has a degree in computer science from Stanford University.

INTERVIEWER

Mika Uehara is the co-founder of SF Fashtech and has nearly 10 years of experience in the intersection of fashion and technology, ranging from owning a small women's apparel company to working in adtech, ecommerce, and retail technology.

As an entrepreneur, Mika launched a mobile app and founded Shigo.us, a website dedicated to modern Japanese craftsmanship and design. Mika currently works in product marketing and channel development at Fiverun, a cloud-based retail software startup based in SF. Mika received her AB from University of Chicago and MSc from London School of Economics.
