For the first time, Pig & Pie will participate in SF Beer Week with two special events and an expanded tap beer offering.
The San Francisco Mission neighborhood eatery will host a special week long Beer Float Event Feb. 9 – 15 pairing Lost Coast brews and Humphry Slocombe ice cream. Pig & Pie invited its neighbor to pair three of Pig & Pie’s Lost Coast brews on tap with three different ice cream flavors.
After developing the pairings: Tangerine Wheat & Creamsicle, Chocolate Stout + Banana, and Raspberry Brown & Brown Butter, Humphry Slocombe was inspired to also throw a beer float party to end all beer float parties at Pig & Pie on the last night of SF Beer Week, Sunday, Feb. 15th from 6 – 9 PM. For this unique event, the ice cream maker has created a limited run of Eight Ball Stout ice cream to create a layered stout flavor with Lost Coast’s Eight Ball Stout.
Housed in the landmarked Discolandia Record Store building on 24th Street in the Mission, Pig & Pie is a neighborhood eatery that serves housemade comfort and Southern inspired food as well as dessert pies baked in house daily. This casual and affordable eatery serves timeless classics; from homemade sausages to veal and pork meatballs, to fried chicken salad, and more.
